Fashion Week 2018

On display were around 30 women's outfits in mostly muted colors, with figure-hugging cuts and the Callisti-typical mix of very masculine looks with military hints, but also with strong sensual-feminine accents. The fall/winter collection 2018/19 is as usual figure-hugging and reduced. Flared, opulent skirts were paired with skimpy tops.Asia and the Middle East were the sources of inspiration, with all folklore blended into very modern interpretations. Floral prints were used most discreetly. Particularly eye-catching are the leather accessories, wide waist belts and harnesses that look like safety harnesses. The main colors used were burgundy, eggplant, dark blue and cream, mixed with taupe and black. The models looked like Amazons determined to do anything, with hair straightened, strictly gelled out of the face and dark-rimmed eyes. Occasionally, echoes of cinema and samurai style were to be discovered at the E-Werk in Berlin Mitte, the main venue of the Fashion Week.
